Please tell me....

Please tell me that this happens to EVERYONE with a 2 year old!

INDEPENDENCE!
Yes this is Cannon getting out of the bathtub all on his own because he doesn't like me to help him get out! Not to mention the fact that he prefers to bathe with the shower curtain shut so that he can have privacy!

Do I even need to say anything here?
Yes that is a can of Slim-Fast and hot chocolate dumped out all over my couch, the floor and my child!

I know this isn't my kitchen, so why are all of those appliances on my bed?
CANNON!
I'm pretty sure Brandon just watched him bring them in as he laid there on the bed!

Finally, as helpful as it would be to have an extra hand clean out the dishwasher, this isn't exactly what I had mind. Plus they were DIRTY!

I know you are thinking I don't watch my kid, but if you have kids you know any one of these incidents can happen in just a matter of seconds...literally! All it takes is one trip to the bathroom alone and you can come out to utter DESTRUCTION!

All I need to know is that this is normal and C and I can keep on truckin' through. (If it isn't don't tell me because I seriously have moments where I am certain I can not go on!) Oh my, I so wonder what is going through their little heads when they pull these kind of stunts! As Brandon would say "WHAT A STINKING BRO!"
(but a sweet one! :)

It is so great hearing other people's stories. You are far from being alone. Those are the moments that drive you absolutely crazy but you would also miss them if they weren't there. Call me anytime and we can vent together!

I totally hear ya! They can create a disaster in a matter of seconds! The other day, we were getting ready to go somewhere and I had just bought a new stroller and was trying to get the stupid thing to fold down and in the meantime Talan went and grabbed my modge podge glue out of the cupboard(which are now locked) and opened the lid and poured the glue all over our couch and carpet! I am still trying to find something that will get it out! Toddlers!

That is so normal! There are many days when Breckon climbs up and spills all the cereal or Nesquick in the pantry.
Good luck!!

How funny! And yes-completely normal! Mike totally would have done the same thing as Brandon, just sat there while they destroyed something. Men.

Lets just say we better keep him and Addi far far away from each other!
