Meet the Clampets!

Tis' the season for lights, decorations, food and the Clampetts! For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Famous Beverly Hillbillies, just stop on by my house and you will know all you need to know about them. Yes, they are from the country gone to that land of the famous and clearly surviving in a unique way of their own. Lets just say The Ball's are often getting by in their own unique way!
So after FOUR years of BEGGING Brandon to put up the Christmas lights, he finally did and they look fabulous (I will post a pic at a later date). It is all of the fine tuning detail that didn't work out so hot. Let's start with the fuse that kept blowing after about 20 min. After the third time Brandon was so ticked I thought for sure we would be the family on the block with the lights on the house but never actually turned on. When we finally figured out what was causing the fuse to blow, there was some serious jimmy rigging, or should I say baller rigging going on. We had to split the lights in to a couple different extension cords. I am positive we are breaking at least three fire codes. We will either end up with a ticket from the city or a fire!
Hey I have to give credit to my man for getting everything to work. The lights really look gorgeous, is just the front porch you may want to be weary of, so watch your step if you are coming by for a visit. Here's to next year and figuring a safer, cleaner look. Tis' the season, Happy Holidays everyone!

Welcome to our home
THE CLAMPETTS

O yeah, I am serious, it looks like that.

So cool! I have to admit we have that at our house. James wanted Christmas lights and after lots of thinking and figuring it out he did it but we have the same thing going on at our house just on the roof. I can't wait for it to snow and fry something. Tis the season.

Haha, I love it! As long as the lights look good, that's all the matters! By the way, thanks for the SWEET compliment! :)
