I know I have said this before, but someday I am hopeful to write a book titled "The Adventures of Cannon Ball." He keeps me busy, makes me crazy and brings a smile to my face
Yes, this is Brooklyn minus a very important accessory...her diaper! Cannon took it upon himself to change her diaper because she was "smelly." Luckily for all parties involved, it was just wet. Clearly Brooky doesn't mind. She LOVES her brother!
And this my friends was a special treat! On Saturday, Brooklyn was asleep and both Brandon and I were in desperate need of a nap, so we sent Cannon to his room. We have a rule that you don't have to go to sleep you just have have quiet time. You can read a book, color whatever as long as it's quiet. Apparently this counts too because it was indeed a quiet activity. When we got up from our nap we discovered this disaster! The mattress, sheets, bed skirt etc all off the bed! Toys spread out EVERYWHERE! When we asked him why he took his mattress off, he said "because I wanted to jump on my bed." Good enough reason I guess. Seriously! He did apologize for taking his mattress off and he did spend some time with his good friend "thinking time." I am thinking that this may be a boy thing too!
As a redeeming act, after I was ready for the day on Saturday Cannon said "Mom, you look so beautiful." Melt my heart, and this pictures doesn't hurt much either. Oh the Adventures of Cannon Ball, it truly could become a children's book SERIES! Love you bud!
