Today I am thankful for PICTURES!
Sometimes I get a little picture happy, or force my family to have family pics taken every fall, or beg my children for a photo op when they least want it. But I am thankful for modern technology and for Sir Nicéphore Niépce who invented the photograph. Without it I wouldn't be able to look at melt my heart with happiness pictures like this...
(this is just Brandon's classic "I'm cool, too cool to smile" pose, he really isn't grouchy, I mean how could he be with a baby like that?!)

Instead, pictures allow me to document, to journal, to filter my emotions. To find joy and happiness, to remember, to LOVE and to be thankful that I can freeze a few of my favorite moments in time.
