WhAt?!?! Yes Cannon turned 3! For his birthday he wanted a guitar so I made him a guitar cake! It was the first cake I have ever made for him (loser mom I know) and it was actually quite fun! Cannon picked out the color and helped me make it. It was fun to have him help. He kept telling everyone that his "gitar cake" was his "pavorite!" He loved it and that is all that matters.


We had some family over for cake and ice cream and presents!
He got a PERCY the train for his track set, clothes, a radio, some Cd's , pajamas and a DOC car from mom, dad and Brookin. A Toy Story football and Buzz jammies from grandma Karen. A Guitar from grandma Chris and papa. And a lot of love from his sweet aunts and uncles! He even had a surprise guest...his true love Ashley, who is really his uncle Casey's adorable girlfriend that we LOVE!

The next day we had dinner to celebrate birthdays at grandpa and Diana's. He got more track from grandpa and Diana! A sweet C^3 cake from uncle Nick and a good old stake dinner where C opted for a hot dog instead. As always he was spoiled rotten!

Cannon and his aunt Millie have birthdays just days apart, so it was double the party!

I know I complain about Cannon ALL the time, and pretty much daily wonder how I am ever going to survive this stage of his life and mine, but really he is my sweet baby boy and I can't believe how fast time flies! I swear it's true that time goes by faster once you have kids! Remember way back when you thought you would NEVER have your driver's license, go on your first date, or even reach High School for that matter?! Well here it is folks, I am afraid that I am going to open my eyes tomorrow and Cannon will be graduating college! I am trying to learn to cherish this age and everything about it because next year it will be gone and we will be in a new phase. Here are some of the things I cherish right now and want to remember forever!

1. Your sweet kisses, on the cheek of course...getting too big for a lip smacker!
2. When you climb in bed with me and hold my hand or wrap my arm around you to tuck you in a little closer.
3. Your infectious giggle!
4. The way you cry and throw the biggest tantrum then the second you want something can stop and even throw in a "Pweese!"
5. Your facial expressions! The way your eyes light up when you are excited, or your brows arch when you are concerned.
6. How incredibly smart you are!
7. The way you remind me and dad what we should be doing!
8. What a great brother you are. Always concerned about your sister and loving her, sometimes too much.
9. Your hilarious phrases and quick whitedness!
10. The way you make our family a family and our house a home!
