We just had our annual Stewart Family Reunion! Good times as always! In the past we have always had it at Bear Lake but my grandpa is not exactly in camping condition so we decided to keep it a little closer to home for him....like at his home!So we did a little of this...
Swimming at Ross Park,
with the on again, off again, on again lightning storm / get out of the pool, get back in the pool drill!

Bouncing around!
Thank heavens for the bounce house! It was a blast and quite the babysitter! Poor Cannon, he and our little cousin Jake were sorely outnumbered!

A little of that...
that's right, camping in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard!
It made quite a quaint campground, even though I didn't camp it looked nice! :)
...had a sweet pancake breakfast...
thanks to my mom (who may quite possible be the BEST pancake maker ever!) and Karl who knows how to cook his meat! :)
...And a whole lot of service!
Because my grandpa is unable to do so many things at this point we spent the day painting, cleaning, digging, and dolling up the place. The eaves, windows and foundation needed some serious paint! The yard needed some sweet lovin' and the garage needed a whee bit of on overhaul. With everyone there and willing to serve, it all got done!
We even managed to get three baby quilts in! (Please ignore my fabulous look! Keep in mind it was the end of the day and we had been working outside in the heat painting etc.) These are my two cousins. We are all with in a year or so of each other and we are all having baby girls. Brooklyn will only be a couple months older than these September babies! Kind of cool.
That evening we all headed to my cousins baptism and then to the Hall's for a fabulous chicken dinner and some good old fashioned family time! It was definitely different this year but it was really neat to see everyone come together and serve my grandparents. I know my grandma was truly grateful for our efforts and loved having her family together. It made for some good memories and a reminder of what family is all about.
All in all I would say it was a success! You can't go wrong with service!
You did a GREAT job mom!
