Santa and the Zoo!

We took the kids to zoo lights last week. Cannon loved it! He has been begging to go to the zoo for weeks because his dad promised him he would take him to the zoo, on Labor day. Haha! Well we finally made it. We had a special treat that night. SANTA! He had just arrived with 2 of his reindeer, Comet and Vixen. We patiently waited for Cannon to visit with Santa only to get a picture like this...

Yep, true to themselves neither of my kids are even looking at the camera. O'well, Santa put on a good pose!

Oh yes, my sweet Cannon who so badly wanted to see Santa barely spoke a word to him. However he had a load of questions for me to ask him. Here is just a sample;

Santa where is your sleigh car?
Where is your little Bambi? (That would be Rudolph)
Are you going to bring me the red Toy Story for Christmas?
(That would be Toy Story 2)

After Santa we headed into the "Jungle" as Cannon called it. There were lots of animals out, perhaps the most fascinating were the tigers! Cannon did not love them, he was worried they would jump out of the fence.

He is so much fun right now. So curious and so FUNNY! He has so much to say and so many ways to say it. Brooklyn is quite fun herself. She was a champ at the Zoo. Slept the whole time, but like her sweet self, SCREAMED the entire way home. I hope Santa doesn't get wind of that or she might be gettin' nothin' for Christmas! :)
