PAY BACK!
This is a picture of exactly what you think it is! MY HAIR! No it's not falling out due to a serious lack of iron and protein that my baby is sucking me dry of. It was graciously snipped off with a pair of scissors by my ever so thoughtful 2 year old!
Let me explain...
The other day I was going through some boxes of baby clothes that my sweet sister-in-law gave me (THANK YOU MARIANNE!) and while doing so Cannon asks if he can play with my hair. This is not uncommon. He loves to brush my hair, put clips in it, pretend to blow dry it etc. Brandon's worst nightmare I am sure, since he has HIGH hopes of a future BYU lineman in the works. So, I agree to play beauty shop and tell him to go get the brush. I see him come back out with the brush, a comb and a clip. He begins to create his masterpiece when all of the sudden I hear something eerily like cutting. I reach to the back of my head only to grab this nice chunk cut out from the middle of my hair! Instant fear succumbs me because truthfully I don't have a lot of hair as it is and it takes FOREVER to grow, not to mention the fact that when I am prego it seems to break and disappear like it was never there anyway! I rush to the bathroom to see the damage, luckily it was spread out over a greater area that I had originally thought so it is blending quite well. I am not even quite sure how he got the hair scissors, nor has he ever expressed any interest in them, nor did I see them in his hands when he came out with his beauty kit! Honestly this kid keeps me on my toes. I will accept part of the blame for this incident considering I am always trying to snip at his hair and cut the random long pieces off, and because I was partially distracted with the baby clothes. But really kid, what are you doing cutting your moms hair!?!
Long story short...I SWEAR to you Cannon is Brandon's payback child! I just know it because there is no way his SWEET mom could have done half the things this kid does! Too bad his dad isn't home more to experience the terror he put his own mother through! :)
