17 days and counting!

It's official! Today is June 1, 2010 so in roughly 17 more days, 21 at the very most, we will be a family of four! I have a feeling that is going to rock not only mom and dad's world but a little fella we call Cannon! It is hitting me hard that before we know it we will be bringing home a sweet baby girl. In the mean time, here are 17 rambling thoughts!

1. I think the Lord is preparing me for sleepless nights already. I have been so sick the last week that I have hardly slept. Last week it was the flu, then Cannon getting the flu, then some random allergic reaction to something, then this terrible pain in my neck and last night another flu like attack! SERIOUSLY in the last 7 days I have only slept in my bed 2 times! I am hoping it is not a premonition of sleepless baby!

2. I am hoping the weather warms up some because all the clothes I bought this baby girl are for SUMMER! Perhaps the seasons are confused as I stare at the rain out my window.

3. My clothes don't fit! I have no idea how I lasted ALL summer being prego with C! I haven't even hit my maximum swelling point yet and yet getting dressed is a daily feat!

4. The basement is so close to being done I can taste it! We are almost ready to paint and B has been spending every spare second down stairs. The carpet guys called and said the carpet we ordered arrived (2weeks early) so now we are under the gun!

5. I have been craving a good run! Funny since my current condition pretty much allows for a good waddle! Can't wait to get out there.

6. Everything I eat makes me SICK! The only thing I want lately is an ice cold slurpee!

7. Can't wait to breath again!

8. Can't wait to bend over with ease again!

9. I'm sure my sweet husband can't wait until I start cooking again instead of telling him how tired I am and if he wants dinner we are going out! :)

10. Sad but true! I am excited to take a few weeks off of church! :)

11. Can't wait to take my Can man swimming! It's his favorite thing and I love how excited he gets!

12. In an odd sort of way I am excited for B to start travel so that he has Fridays off! Nothing like a three day weekend with him home!

13. Can't to smell the sweetness of a newborn baby!

14. Looking forward to hours of cuddling my new addition, and probably a jealous Cannon!

15. Contemplating going Private on the blog because I keep getting a bunch of random psycho comments! Tell me what you think.

16. Hoping everything goes nice and smooth with this labor, unlike last times turn of events!

17. Finally, can't wait to see what my new baby looks like! I love envisioning what I think she will look like but there is nothing like the real deal. So baby B, 17 days and counting!

17 days, are you serious?? Where has your pregnancy gone?? I'm sure not fast for you, but it truly flew by for me. :) I loved reading your 17 things, I agree with you about going private (I'm just lazy!!), and if there is anything I can do to make your last days better, PLEASE tell me. You know I'm just right around the corner...literally! Can't wait to meet your sweet little thing!!

I have lots of cool weather 0-3 m baby girl clothes you could borrow. We are headed to Utah on the 19 of June and could bring some if you need. Good luck on the last few weeks of pregnancy, I feel the pain with your flu and not sleeping. I got the flu 3 weeks before Olivia was born, it sucked!!

On the private issue, the only thing I hate about private blogs is that I can't follow them on google reader and after awhile I forget to check for new posts. But i recently saw away around this and have considered doing it myself. I have a friend that went private and used the old blog site as a pre-blog. When ever she updates the new blog, she posts the title and a link on the pre-blog. Only invited users can use the link, but people can still use google reader to see when you update. Here is their pre-blog if you want to check it out. http://purplepredicament.blogspot.com/

Good luck! That is so exciting!
Seriously...you should go private, then you don't have crazy people reading your blog, and leaving comments!

Rachel,

I am so excited for you and Brandon. You will have to post pictures as soon as possible. I pray she comes as soon as possible for you. Good luck.

P.S. I lived off of slurpees with Nathan.
