Soccer '12!

We just finished another season of indoor soccer. It went a lot better than last year. We didn't have a series of breaks during each and every game and there were NO tears! However, we have plenty of room for improvement. Here's the funny thing. Cannon was BEGGING to play so we signed him again and yet his attention was diverted to running in circles around the gym rather than running toward the ball.

Brandon even promised to take Cannon to Chuckee Cheese if he made a goal. During one of his games Cannon stood by the goal waiting for the ball to come to him so he could kick it in....the only problem was his team was at the other end of the field. Haha! After we asked him why he was standing there and he replied "because dad told me to stand by the goal and kick it in." Well he did just that. Oh well, he likes it and he has fun with his friends.

I missed some of his friends in the pics but he did get a super cool team photo that he loves to look at it in his room.

On the last game day Cannon was so excited to get his trophy so he promised us he would play "so, so awesome so that he could get his trophy." Well he did play awesome and he got his trophy.

Maybe next year we will get a trophy and a GOAL!
