Brandon watches BEST WEEK EVER on VH1 almost every week, so in honor of his beloved BWE here is our own personal version! Brandon had the last week and half off of work which in itself makes for the BEST WEEK EVER! So here is a little snippet of what we did.
We decided to bite the bullet and finish our basement. We decided no one really knows what the future will bring, we may live here for one more year or fifteen more years. But either way we are moving forward with one big project. The 2 x 4's were delivered to our garage, which is a good thing since apparently we live in a Rain Forest where it rains every ten minutes! We spent a few hours taking the 2x4's downstairs, not exactly the highlight of the week, however the sheet rock was put directly in our basement by the grand ole deliver men!
We went to the West Jordan Carnival on the 4th of July, which should really be re-named Cinco DE Mayo (if you know what I mean.) I was able to spend my FAVORITE holiday with my FAVORITE person, even though he was boycotting shaving which is very apparent in the above photo! I hate the beard but I love my honey!
We took Cannon to the Cabin where he had his first ride on the zip-line! I thought he would HATE it but he LOVED it and couldn't get enough! Here he is zooming by with aunt Steph! We also enjoyed a pleasant walk around Silver Lake with grandma and grandpa Williamson.
We spent an afternoon at The Children's Museum with uncle Casey. Fun for Cannon but so NOT worth $8.50 per person (including Cannon). BTW that doesn't come with a parking validation, you have to pay extra to get that!
Did a whole lot of swimming! We went almost every day! We love swimming! It may quite possibly be Cannon's favorite summer past time. Here he is with "his Millie." He LOVE, LOVE, LOVES my sister, and the "splash, splash!"We also discovered Cannon would like to be a nudist! Yes a NUDIST people! The kid takes his clothes and diaper off every ten minutes! I took a sweet picture of my little nudist sleeping but his pee pee was showing so it was probably not appropriate for the blog! In fact as we speak Cannon has been in his bed talking for an hour and a half, I went to check on him and he is naked in his bed! Keep in mind he went to bed in his PJ'S! However there is a lovely mess awaiting me so I am making him sit in it until I am ready to clean it up! SERIOUSLY KID!

Finally we were able to attend a FABULOUS party for Grandma Ball's 90th birthday! Karen threw a fab BBQ with great company! We got some seriously cute family pictures taken and I can't wait to see them!
1) Brandon was HOME! Not working late, not out of town, just HOME!
2) Cannon didn't have to go to the sitter! Which makes us all happy!
3) It was the 4th of JULY!
4) We got to spend time together with just our little family, who could ask for more!

Sounds like fun! I had a sister who always stripped down, sometimes to her diaper, and sometimes to nothing at all. She would run around the neighborhood in the buff.
Ok can you give me writting lessons. Your posts and stories are always so cute and the way your write them just make me laugh. I'm glad you got to spend a week with Brandon thats exciting. High five on the basement I hope we get ours done in the next 5 years.
Yahoo for great weeks! I am so glad you guys got to spend time together as a family...okay I am still laughing at the "personality" update...he cracks me up SO much. YOu have the cutest little boy ever!
Annika also was a nudist. I ended up going back to the zippered feetsie pjs and then putting a safety pin barely under the zipper so she couldn't unzip it. But if I put the pin to low, she could still get naked. I was so SICK of changing her sheets!!!
