There are days when I am sure Cannon will meet his death either by me or because of his wild-man-ness! But lately he has been so SWEET!!! I have to document these things to remember them down the road, when he is NASTY(probably tomorrow :) so that I can look back and remember why I love him so much! Here are some of his "sweet moments" as of late.
1. He is in Senior Nursery now and LOVES IT! When we drive past the church he says "yay nursery" or "mom I wan go nursery."
2. The other night we were all sitting on the couch. Cannon was coloring in his McQueen book and singing. It took me a minute to realize what he was singing but I finally figured out it was "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam." I love hearing him sing that tune in his sweet little voice as he goes about his day. These are the parts he knows, "at home, at school, at play," "I'll be a sunbeam for him" and "a sunbeam, a sunbeam." Sop precious!
3. The other night as I was putting him to bed, we neglected to say prayers and he quickly reminded me, "say prayers ma."
4. We usually read a story before bed. Friday night B and I were getting C all tucked in and he said he wanted to read the Jesus book so I grabbed his little Book of Mormon stories and C said "no ma, the Jesus book" while pointing to his closet. I had no clue what he was talking about, so I got him out of his bed and took him to the closet so he could show me. He reached up and pointed to the book I am a Child of God by Greg Olsen. I didn't even know he knew he had it. It used to be on a shelf in his baby room, but when we moved him to the big boy room I put it up. Not to mention the fact that I don't ever remember reading it to him.
5. He has been such a cuddlier! I have found my self SO TIRED half way through the day that I have to lay down or take a nap. He is so sweet to settle right in next to me and put is arm around my neck, or rap my arms around him or play with my hair while we have quiet time. That is some much needed rest time for me and I love being able to have that special time with him.
6. When he comes up and puts his arms around my neck and gives me a big squeeze.
7. When he says "hi ma."
8. When he wakes up in the morning and comes in my room with a big grin and climbs in bed with me.
9. When he wants to share "ma's blank" so we can "snuggle."
10. When he gives me big wet smooch followed by a tender "I love you ma."
11. His manners! When he says "danks ma" or "pease!"
So while he can be a terror, like when we fight EVERY morning about whether or not he should wear "big boys" or go potty, I try to remember his "sweet" moments that not only touch my heart but build my testimony and strengthen my love for my family and my Savior. Children are a constant reminder of our Savior and his love and I consider myself very lucky to have such a strong little spirit in my house. I love you my little Can-man!

You always manage to tug at my heart strings when you talk about your little guy like you do. I love when you share such cute and funny things about him and your reaction. I makes me smile and realize things can be fun. Thanks
