Earlier this month we took Cannon to see Disney on Ice! He LOVED it! He heard the ad on the radio and wanted to go so badly! I told his dad, who may have won father of the year by purchasing some sweet tickets for his little guy! He had the poster hanging in his room for nearly a month and was so excited to tell everyone he was going to "see Disey." He still has it hanging up, it is just a little wrinkled, ripped, kid tortured etc.
At the end of the performance he cried because he wanted them to come back out like they did after intermission. It was so sad but cute that he enjoyed it so much.
We have raised a champ...so far...he was NOT interested in the $15 souvies instead all he wanted was a $3 bucket of popcorn and a free ride on TRAX! Making his budget savvy father so proud! It was a much needed family outing and super fun!
This last weekend we went bowling for a Big Sister Big Brothers charity event in Park City and took C with us. It was his first time bowling and he actually did pretty good. However the ONLY person that could help was his dear old dad! He had on a the cutest bowling shoes I have ever seen and a T-shirt that was about 5 sizes too big and he looked adorable! He only made it about half way through before his attention was captivated by the arcade near by. Can't complain considering his attention is usually half that! Sadly I don't have any pictures because dear old C has decided to take on photography as his latest hobby and my camera was dead!
"CHEEEESE" a photographer in the making I know! This was in there along with about 30 other pics of himself and various angles of our house!
I am proud to say I am making SOME progress on my to do list. The babies quilt is done, awaiting it's other accessories. Thanks to her sweet brother who butchered her valance with a handy pair of scissors that mom left within his reach, some improvisions have been made and when it's all put together I will post pics! Here is a sneak peak...
Finally, we are getting a little bit closer everyday with the basement. What a project! I can't wait for it to be finished so we can ship the mass of toys downstairs and get baby B's room ready! This last week we went from this....
and this...the SOUND PROOF drum room! Hooray!
The beauty of progress!
All in all things are good! B is working "normal hours" in Ogden but at least he is home in time to see C before he hits the hay and occasionally I preform the great housewife duty of making dinner and we actually eat together! Baby B is only 10 weeks away and we are all happy and healthy! Can't complain!

What an adorable quilt - love the colors, love the flower, love it all. Glad to see the progress on the basement. Here's hoping it's done in 10 weeks...that's plenty of time! I just have to smile cause I remember being in your exact shoes last year!! Can't wait for your little one to get here.
What...you really made that quilt???!!! SO AMAZING! You rock rach! I love that C was crying after the Disney on Ice was over, that is so funny...he cracks me up. And good job on the basement, we are jealous and would die for one!
