Easter Egg-stravaganza

This Easter was so FUN with Cannon! It was the first time I think he really grasped the concept of the Easter Bunny, but by no means did he get the true meaning of Easter.

This was Cannon's first year dying Easter eggs. He loved it and had a so much fun with the colors. The eggs didn't last too long though. After they were dry enough to touch he started throwing them around like balls and crushing them in his hands as if they were stress relievers or something. Needless to say they ended up in the garbage almost as fast as we made them. Either way it was fun and I am glad that Cannon enjoyed it so much!

We had big plans to head over to the Herriman City Easter Egg hunt, but as usual the weather was terrible! Seriously I am so sick of the wind and snow!!! The Easter Bunny visited Grandma's house so that dad could have a night with the "boys" and boy did he come bearing gifts! This kid needs his sibling to get here so that he isn't so spoiled!

He got the traditional Easter outfit, shirts for church, some shorts and of course his summer shoes! He even got some new Toy Story PJ'S, I know who gets pajamas for Easter? Thus he is n great need of that baby sister to get here! Perhaps his favorite gift was a companion for Buzz, the infamous Woody! Sadly Woody has already disappeared and we have NO IDEA where it has gone! We have looked high and low and he is NOWHERE to be found! We are not even sure he made the trip home from grandmas though B is positive he put Woody in the car. Poor Woody! if anybody comes across a homeless Disney character he may be ours. :)

HAPPY EASTER!
We hope you all enjoyed the weekend with your families and celebrating the true meaning of this great holiday while enjoying the simple joys of childhood as well.
