The Zoo!

Over Memorial Weekend we went to the Zoo. I love the Zoo! I have no idea why, but I always have. Brandon thinks it's weird since it's a bunch of caged up animals who would probably rather be roaming the wild. However I think Utah has a fabulous zoo, and I prefer to think the animals are better off under the care of humans. I think Brooklyn liked it too.

She was so good! She just kicked back in her stroller and took it all in.

Here is the baby Elephant. She was so cute...something about a baby anything is just darling.

We rode the carousel which both my kids were only luke warm about. Dad had the camera here, thus no picture! Brooklyn discovered Cotton Candy for the first time and I think she is hooked! She LOVED it! You should have seen her face and the grunts she was giving us in an effort to get more.

Went on a train ride that both the kids liked. Brooklyn is just loving it!

They have this Dinosaur theme at the zoo this summer. Cannon was afraid of pretty much all of them. We kept trying to explain that they were just robots. He wasn't having any of it. Toward the end of the trip he finally decided to believe us and actually climbed on this dino for a picture. I am not sure if it was because it didn't have legs or because it wasn't mechanical. The kid is afraid of his shadow so it was no surprise that he was scared of them. On the way home we asked C what his favorite part was. He said "the dinosaurs, and they are just robots so they won't eat us." So funny!

Ahh the whole fam!

This is Brooklyn kissing me and telling me THANK YOU for taking me to the zoo, you are my BEST FRIEND and I love you. I think she likes it just as much as her mom! :) We had a great time and we were happy to be there with grandma and grandpa!
