Halloween!

11-1-09
What would Halloween or the month of October be without a trip to the Pumpkin Patch?! Cannon really enjoyed it this year! I think he finally understood what was going on. He was so funny going around picking up all the pumpkins he could and trying to stash them in the wheel barrel. He would have taken the whole patch home if he could, but we headed out with 3!

Cannon got so excited to carve pumpkins! He was a little unsure about all the pumpkin guts but LOVED it when we lit them up. He is at such a fun age right now and it is fun to see him get so excited about everything. He had a secret hiding place for his pumpkin too, I couldn't find it when we were getting ready to carve, he had been carrying it around in his little candy bucket. Funny kdi! Brandon had his best year ever and really went all out on his pumpkin. His are usually pretty basic, some eyes, a mouth etc. His is the BOO-tacular one! :)

Finally this is my little cowboy! Isn't he seriously the cutest cowboy you have ever seen? On Friday he got to get all dressed up to go Trick or Treating at Brandon's work. He made a hauling and it was inside so it was nice a warm!

The next night he went out for his first real Halloween experience. He was so cute knocking on the doors but his "trick or treat" was only audible about half the time. He had so much fun. However he may have had more fun passing out candy. We had to go show grandma and aunt Millie (her and her friend were a pair of dice, pretty clever eh?!) the cowboy. While we were there he got so excited every time someone would ring the bell. He was quite generous and he would always say "here you go." When no one was there he would go out on the front porch and say "comere" (come here) trying to scout some more trick or treater's. So cute! My favorite though, was when someone with a scary mask would come to the door, he would put his hands up lilke a monster and say "rarrrrrr," I wish I would have captured it on video!

He definitely made Halloween a treat this year!
